Joel was one of the original visionaries of the project and now runs the business and financial side of DTR. Joel grew up in San Diego, CA where he nurtured a deep love for the ocean through surfing. While studying International Business at Pepperdine, he spent a year abroad in France. It was through his adventures in Europe where he discovered his traveling spirit. After going Down The Road, he’s now living in Malibu where he manages several valet parking operations throughout Los Angeles. He loves songwriting, freedom, dreaming up business ideas, and laughing like an idiot, (seriously, you should hear his laugh). He's 24 years old and has a beautiful fiancée, Rose. There’s really no telling what he'll do with his life, but he’s not too worried about that.
